1 semester class ~ 1/2 Credit ~ Open to Freshmen-Seniors
**This class is the prerequisite for any other foods class**
Student will learn about kitchen equipment, kitchen procedures, kitchen math and review the current information on food safety and the prevention of cross contamination. This course is designed for students to learn and understand the principles of nutrition and in maintaining a healthy life style. Attention will be given to the selection and preparation of food and personal health and well-being.
