Junior or Senior Science

Prerequisite: 80%+ average for the whole year in Biology

Zoology is an elective science course open to juniors and seniors. It is designed as a taxonomy class. First semester is a survey of invertebrate animals with topics including the classification, structure, and functioning of the “simple animals.” Second semester is a survey of the vertebrate classes comparing major body systems. Animal groups include the fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals.
