Chemistry I
Full Year - One Credit
Open to Sophomores - Seniors
A course designed to give the student a strong background in the fundamental concepts of chemical science. Topics covered in this introductory chemistry class first semester include: matter, atomic structure, chemical nomenclature, measurements and calculations, the mole, chemical reactions, and chemical quantities. Second semester includes: atomic theory, chemical bonding, gases, solutions, acids and bases, and equilibrium.
