Freshmen or Sophomore Science
This course gives the students essential lab skills and a basic background in life science topics. This course has a quicker pace and is more rigorous compared to general science. Key topics covered include: introductory chemistry, microscope use, cell structure, cell function, energy and the cell, cell division. Second semester includes the following topics: DNA, basic genetics, human genetics, ecosystems, ecology, and the environment.
